Conceptual and Design Engagement
Extensive community and stakeholder engagement occurred during the conceptual and design phases of the project to help steer specific pieces of the project and keep stakeholders and the community informed.
Engagement efforts included but are not limited to:
Created the Dr. Jeremiah Cameron Park Advisory Committee of stakeholders interested in the future of the park during and after construction
Coordinated with existing organizations, including Westport Regional Business League and Steptoe Lives
Direct outreach to Westport businesses and property owners within the project corridor
Open house meetings for the community to learn more about the project
Public Entity Meetings with KC Water, KC Parks and the Public Works Department
